Judy worked for many years managing and executing large-scale technology solutions in the IT, Engineering, and Digital Entertainment industries. She managed a portfolio of $30M in annual initiatives and led project teams of 100+ members to successfully deliver over-the-top (OTT) streaming video services for millions of customers. At the University of California, Berkeley, she received a Bachelor’s in Cognitive Science emphasizing Computational Modeling, and a Master’s in Information Management & Systems. Judy also graduated with honors from the University of Glasgow with a Master’s in Art History, and is a certified Project Management Professional. In 2017, she retired from the professional world and now actively manages her investment portfolio.

Since 2000, Judy has been a student of His Holiness the 41st Sakya Gongma Trichen. That year, she worked with His Holiness the 42nd Sakya Trizin to create Pal Sakya, one of the first websites on the Sakya tradition, which later became his personal website. She joined the Sachen Foundation board of directors from its official beginning and served as Chair of the Communications Committee until 2020. She is currently a member of the Grants Committee.
