Prayer for the Flourishing of the Dharma – From the Word of the Buddha
This well renowned prayer is an extract from The King of Samādhis Sūtra (Sanskrit: Samādhirājasūtra; Tibetan: ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན་གྱི་རྒྱལ་པོའི་མདོ།) aka: The Moon Lamp Sutra, from chapter 3, Praise of the Buddhas Qualities. The King of Samādhis Sūtra is one Mahāyāna’s most famous and frequently cited sutras. Herein are presented two translations of the prayer.
